Pinyon Partners is currently pursuing a major business opportunity with a federal agency, which, if successful, is anticipated to begin in mid-2010. To support this effort, Pinyon has an immediate need to identify outstanding program manager candidates. We are interested in broad thinkers that have a proven record of delivering complex, sophisticated, and effectual research and analysis products to billion dollar plus clients. We want more than experience though – we want a deep understanding of how the consultative process works, how clients appreciate value from third-party sources, and how teams of wildly different but intellectually aggressive people are best directed and deployed. The Program Manager will be responsible for leading small consulting teams in the analysis of issues at the intersection of policy and application and in the delivery of compelling insights that shape the thinking of senior decision-makers.
The Program Manager position represents an exciting opportunity for a smart, highly-motivated individual to jump into a small consulting and research practice and play a significant role in helping to shape and grow the practice. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity – he or she must be willing and able to deliver powerful results from vaguely-defined initial conditions and in a fast-moving environment.
